I too, feel that too many cd's can be very confusing. Early in my music collection, I invested in the large, holds 120+ cd's folders. Now my biggest problem is the labels chipping off of old cd's! All the information is stored on the label, so it essentially leads to dead cd's. Master of Puppets indeed....

hmmm the death of the concept album..
the death of the record store.
i have been thinking about this a lot, actually.
as an avid music fan, it took years for me to finally get behind the digital/mp3 revolution
(sure, I had napster and ways to pirate music but I continued to buy albums/cds regularly)
and now I have bought two albums on iTunes. I know I have been buying less and less tangible CDs.
the main thing for me is that they take up so much space.. i have over 400 cds and after awhile, they're hard to keep track of (maybe it's just me and my disorganization, but I have misplaced a lot of my music..).
i struggle with it though.. i think it's sad that CDs are becoming less of a commodity. i DO appreciate cd covers/design, etc. and I love a good concept album.
